Alpheus Announces Availability of High-Bandwidth Ethernet Throughout its Footprint

Houston, Texas (October 28, 2009)

HOUSTON: Alpheus is pleased to announce near-ubiquitous availability of 100mbps to 1gbps Ethernet across Texas. For years, Alpheus has historically offered the right architecture, price point and quality of service for TDM circuits, and now that same capability will enable both enterprise and carrier customers to connect multiple locations through high capacity Ethernet.

Lower bit rate Ethernet connections are also available, but Alpheus is addressing emerging demand with a well-priced high speed product. “The market for gigabit Ethernet connectivity has moved from specialized to mainstream, and Alpheus stands ready to meet that demand,” said Francisco Maella, Chief Operating Officer of Alpheus Communications.

“We are blessed with a very flexible robust core network, and we use a ‘last mile Toolkit’™ to generate tremendous optionality and speed in provisioning for our customers,” continued Maella.
